Scottsdale ArtWalk’s 42nd Anniversary Season
Sep 05, 2017
Every week on Thursdays, all of Scottsdale’s Gallery Association members open their doors to the public, creating a strolling-by open house throughout the Scottsdale Arts District. Known as "America's Original ArtWalk," the Scottsdale ArtWalk allows visitors to view the work of some of the region’s most creative, distinguished, and avant-garde artists. From 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. every Thursday, guests can explore galleries at their leisure in pleasant surroundings, stopping to admire the fountains, shady courtyards, statuary, and live music of downtown Scottsdale. The trolleys run frequently from nearby free parking lots, and horse-drawn carriage rides are also available during the cooler months.
There are over 28 galleries and art destinations included in the weekly ArtWalk, including Altamira Fine Art, Bischoff’s Gallery, Carstens Fine Art Studio & Gallery, Expressions Gallery, French Designer Jeweler, Gallery Russia, Gebert Contemporary Art, Legacy Gallery, Mainview Gallery, Nature Exposed Photograph, On The Edge Gallery, River Trading Post Native American Art, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West, Wilde Meyer Gallery, and Xanadu Gallery.
