A “Grand” Exhibit and Junk in the Trunk
Sep 02, 2019
Our suggested activities for September’s guests include a stunning art exhibit and a traveling vintage items marketplace. First, photography aficionados and history buffs will want to peruse the Barry M. Goldwater Photographs, showing through March 27, 2020, at Western Spirit: Scottsdale's Museum of the West. Well-known for his five terms as a U.S. senator, Barry Goldwater was also a brilliant photographer and a frequent photo contributor to Arizona Highways Magazine. His passion for photographing the Natives of Northern Arizona and the Grand Canyon can be seen here, and the exhibit will include additional photos from private collections.
Next, don’t miss the return of the renowned Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market from September 13 – 15. Browse the many vintage, collectible, and handmade wares of more than 150 vendors while enjoying live music, and delicious food and drink. Vendors include Anything Rustic, Bare Naked Botanicals, Chicken Dinner Road Vintage, Dos Fannies, For the Love of Old, Grungy Galz, JunkYard Jezebel, My Vintage Thang, Rhinestones n’ Rust, and Shabby Man, along with many more! A portion of the proceeds will benefit Mission One’s Kijabe Women's Sewing Project in Kenya.Share
