Judith Durr receives international recognition for her stunning oil paintings that represent her Choctaw/Cherokee heritage, Western life and landscapes. Her attention to detail, along with her distinctive style of painting of artifacts and rugs from tribes and clans throughout the Americas, are some of the reasons why she has received admiration from so many.
Durr lectures for museums, universities, elder hostels and foreign exchange students programs, and fine art councils, to name a few. She enjoys sharing the history and stories about each artifact she has painted. Her art has been represented by many galleries throughout the Southwest and has been the featured artist for a number of fine art shows.
